Biography
Dr Andrea Luk is Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, CUHK. She graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and became a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine with accreditation in Advanced Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Currently, she is leading an early phase clinical trial to study the effects of a new compound on the prevention of diabetes in high risk subjects with pre-diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
Research Interest
Her research interests include diabetic kidney disease and young-onset diabetes through analyses of large databases and trials.
