Biography
DAI LING is a professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Huazhong University,China.Dai Ling is the Associate Professor at College of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology.Her research spans pulsed power technology,high voltage technology,and gas discharge.She devotes her self to light and compact pulsed power system applied for electromagnetic launch,and focuses on the technologies of high power devices(pulsed capacitors,closed switches and inductors)and integration and optimization.Another research direction is the triggered vacuum switch applied in power system.She is widely published in the scholarly journals in pulsed power system,high voltage technology and plasma.She has been granted some Chinese patents,and her work has been featured at the field of pulsed power system applied for electromagnetic launch in China.She teaches some courses on high voltage technology in College of Electrical and Electronic Engineering,including High Voltage Technology,Principle of Electromagnetic Compatibility and Its Application for undergraduate students,High Voltage Testing Technology for graduatestudents.From 1999 to now,She has borne dozens of projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China,National High-Tech Research and Development Program of China(863Program), and mega project of science research in China,etc.Her technological achievements won“The first prize of scientific and technological progress in Colleges and Universities”by the Ministry of Education of China,“The second prize of science and technology progress award”by General Armament Department and“The second prize of technology invent award”by Technology Bureau of Hubei Province.
