Biography
DENG CHAO is a professor of Mechanical Science and Engineering Mechanical Science and Engineering Chao Deng is the Professor of Mechanical Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Her research spans fault diagnosis, reliability analysis, maintenance and facility management. She also cares for quality management and sustainable development of product. She focuses on questions such as: What affects the residual useful life of devices? How to use the prediction result of degradation rules? What will we do in the facility management to assist fault diagnosis, reliability analysis and maintain. She is the project leaders of some national research grants. She is widely published in the leading scholarly journals in industrial engineering and mechanical engineering. Professor Deng teaches in many of HUST Education programs as well as Industrial Engineering electives including Management, Quality management, Project Management, Advanced Management Theory.
