Biography
DONG ZEHUA is a professor of Environmental Chemistry in Huazhong University,China.Dr. Dong is the Professor of School of Chemistry & Chemistry engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He is also a member of Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection (CSCP), NACE, and the member of corrosion electrochemistry committee, corrosion inhibitors committee under CSCP. His research spreads corrosion & protection of oil & gas field, concrete infrastructures, electrochemical methods and in-situ corrosion monitoring techniques. He is also an engineering specialist of corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection. Dr. Dong teaches many chemistry courses, including material chemistry, electrochemical measurement, corrosion metallurgy, etc. he is a winner of the Distinguished Teaching Award of HUST. By far, he has hosted 2 national natural science funds of china, an “863” high scientific project, 1 national key scientific and technological project, and many projects from Sinopec, CNPC, State Grid of China, etc. He has published more than 60 papers in the leading scholarly journals in corrosion and electrochemistry, in which 30 papers was SCI indexed.
