Biography
Feng Lu is an associate professor in Service Computing Technology and System Lab (SCTS) and Cluster and Grid Computing Lab (CGCL), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China). She received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. at 1992, 1997, and 2006 respectively from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She worked as a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Mellon University in 2013 for three month. She hosted and participated in several teaching reform projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Hubei Province Ministry of Education, intel and HUST. She has presided over the editing of the 11th Five-Year National Textbooks. She awarded third prize of national institutions of higher learning computer courseware competitions in China, teaching achievement prize in Hubei Province. She worked as the director of university-level quality course. Her research interests are now focused on mobile internet and parallel computing. She participated in many important national projects, such as 973, 863 plan projects, and obtained one Science and Technology Progress Award from the government of Hubei province. She is a member of ACM and CCF (China Computer Federation).
