Biography
Fuhao Zou is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computer Science & Technology at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He obtained his BSc and PhD from Department of Computer Science, Central China Normal University (CCNU) in 1998 and School of Computer Science & Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2006 respectively. He then joined the Huazhong University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor and became an Associate Professor in November 2009. His research interests mainly include machine learning and its applications, such as Data-aware Hashing, Multimedia security, Bioinformatics, Data Storage, Big Data Analysis. He was Postdoc Research Fellow in School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering (ITEE) at the University of Queensland (UQ), advised by Professor Xiaofang Zhou and Professor Hengtao Shen in 2010-2011. He publishes more than 50 papers in major journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications (TOMCCAP), Information Science, Applied Soft Computing, ACM Multimedia, and ICME, etc. He is a senior member of CCF and Member of IEEE, ACM, and a special committee member of Storage Professional Committee. He is also specialist of the ISO/IEC JTC1 Study Group on Big Data (JTC1 SGBD). ​
