Biography
Guo Xingpeng is the Professor of materials chemistry at School of Chem. and Chem. Engi., HUST. His research relates to the fields of material science, surface science, and physics and chemistry. He focuses on materials corrosion such as corrosion electrochemistry, theory and application of corrosion inhibitors, MEMS corrosion, corrosion and protection in Petroleum and natural gas industries. He is widely published in the leading scholarly journals in electrochemistry and materials corrosion. He taught the courses of electrochemistry principle and method, Materials corrosion, and engineering chemistry. He serves as vice-president of Chinese society of corrosion and protection (CSCP), Chairman of the committee of corrosion inhibitors of CSCP, vice-president of Hubei society of corrosion and protection, council member of the Hubei Provincial society of chemistry and chemical engineering, Deputy Chairman of Scientific Committee of Hubei Key Laboratory of Materials Chemistry and Service Failure.
