Ji Qian

Biography

Ji Qian, female, now teaching in Huazhong University of Science and Technology,department of industry design as a lecturer. My courses include some of the core curriculum such as basic design, advertising design, computer aided design, etc, from 2007. I took part in the research of “Design methodology” to study the education of graduate student course. I am teaching “Universal Design” in English independently. In 2011, I completed High level international postgraduate course construction project. I won the first prize of teaching contest for young teachers of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2009. And I guided the students to participate in the Ministry of Education organized a national student advertising design competition, one won the national third prize, one won the Finalist Award and a number of them won the provincial award. In the same year I won the outstanding instructor honor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2011 through the projects supported by the CSC, I was a visiting scholar in Kingston University. That same year, with the cooperation of the construction director Leo Duff of Kingston University College of art and design, we started the workshop "Matchbox secret" in my graduates. Dean, School of design in 2013and University of Leeds professor Stephen Westland cooperation, carried out in order to "color" as the theme of the workshop. In 2013, I work with University of Leeds, Dean of School of design Stephen Westland, in order to carry out the "color" as the theme of the workshop. I presided over the school young teachers in independent innovation fund projects, and with the cooperation of University of Kingston launched the study on "cultural Memorial product design and development". In 2012, I participated in the "ocean with three work ship industrial design" project, and completed the school of international exchange and cooperation in key projects independently in 2013. In 2011, I participated in the host "for the design of" dementia project hosted by Professor Hilary Dalke of the University of Kingston.
