Biography
She got her doctor’s degree in Huazhong University of Science and Technologyin 1995. Her doctoral dissertation "Research on the Theory and Method of Surface Topography Detection" was awarded the first "National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award” in 1999. She was elected as the Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineering. Professor Jiang is currently engaged in the research of surface test measurement, filtering and fitting algorithms, optical instruments, etc.. She is the Director of the Advanced Metrology Center of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Chief Professor of Precision Metrology at the University of Huddersfield, UK.
