Biography
Professor Man Li is mainly engaged in acupuncture analgesia. She is the professor, master tutor and doctoral tutor in Department of neurobiology, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong Univesity of Science and Technology (HUST). She is deputy director of the department of neurobiology, secretary-general of Neuroscience Society of Hubei Province, executive director of Acupuncture Society of Wuhan, member of the committee on evidence-based medicine of Acupuncture Society of China, member of basic group in Chinese association of the study of pain. She has been surpported by in 12 funds of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other provincial scientific research projects. She has published more than 40 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, including the important journals of pain research field, such as Journal of Pain, European Journal of Pain, Molecule pain and so on. She obtained 2 utility model patents and an invention patent of the pain threshold detector and the electroacupuncture apparatus. She received PhD from HUST and trained as a postdoctoral fellow in the University of New South Wales, Australia.
