Biography
Lianghai Jin received the B.S. degree in computer science from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 1988, the M.S. degree in computer science from Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2008. He is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From 1988 to 1999, he worked as an Engineer and later a Senior Engineer at the Institute of Science & Technology of Zhengzhou Railway Bureau, Zhengzhou, China. During that time, he obtained great knowledge and extensive research experience, ranging from the designs of digital circuits, software and hardware systems of various single-chip computers, EPLD, DSP, and PLC to PC/WINDOWS software development (Assemble, C, VC, and so on).
