Biography
Liao Yonggui is an Associate Professor of polymer chemistry and physics at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research spans ordered functional polymer composites, multi-phase and multi-component polymers, as well as basic physical behaviors of polymers under high magnetic field. He is executing two projects from NSFC and one from MOE. He has obtained 4 authorized Chinese patents and published more than 40 papers in the leading scholarly journals in polymer science and technology, such as Macromolecules, Macromolecular Rapid Communications, Langmuir, Soft Matter, Polymer, etc. and his work has been cited more than 380 times with an H-Index of 12. He teaches Polymer Physics and Comprehensive Experiment for undergraduates as well as Multi-phase and Multi-component Polymers for graduates. Recipient of Chu-Tian Scholar Award, Distinguished Graduate Student Supervisor, New Century Excellent Talents, Huazhong Scholar Award, most recently he has co-authored the award of First Prize of Jilin Province Natural Science.
