Mei Fuming

Biography

Mei Fuming is an Associate Professor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Huazhong University of Science & Technology(HUST).His research focuses on the Catalytic Chemistry and Green Chemistry. He has finished many scientific research projects such as “the research and development on the catalytic system on automobile car”, “The Chinese 863 high development project, the key catalytic materials for oil and chemical engineering processes”, “the important industrial test project, the catalytic synthesis of dimethyl carbonate”. “The Chinese 863 high development project, the key techniques for the production of biomass fuel from catalytic thermally dissociation of biomass materials”. He is widely published in the leading scholarly journals in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and his work has been featured in a variety of media including Journal of Molecular Catalysis, Applied Catalysis A: General, Appl. Organometal. Chem. Dr. Mei teaches Physical Chemistry for undergraduate students and The Thermodynamics of Chemical Engineering for graduate students.He received the Distinguished Teaching Award at HUST.
