Biography
Dongyuan Shi received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST)in 2002.From Oct.2007 to Mar.2009 he was a visiting scholar in Cornell University.He is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at HUST.Dong yuanShi's research effort is focused on power system analysis.His particular areas include protection relay coordination,fault diagnosis of power grid,power system soft ware engineering,and big data and analytics of power systems.He and his group have published more than 60 refereed journal and conference papers.He has lead a projects ponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,and acted as one of the principal investigators in a 863project.And he has lead more than 10 projects cooperated with State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid.
