Biography
Shengguo Xia is a professor at School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,Huazhong University of Science and Technology.His research focuses on high voltage engineering,low temperature plasma,pulsed power and electromagnetic launching.He teaches three course for undergraduate and graduatestudents,including High Voltage Engineering,Electromagnetic Field and Wave,and Theory of Gas Discharge Plasmas.Most recently he has studied on the physics of high-speed sliding electrical contact with heavy current loads.
