Biography
Dr. Tian Xia obtained his Ph.D. from Iowa State University, majoring Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB). After graduation, he worked as a researh scientist at Biomedical Inforamtics Center, Feinberg Medical School at Northwestern Univeristy and Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Then, he became a faculty member at School of Electronic Information and Communications, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was selected by “1000 Talents:Young Investigator” program in 2013. His research interests are meachine learning, and network modeling in translational research.
