Biography
Changsheng Xie is Professor of Materials Science in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Sicence and Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Huazhong Institution of Technology in 1985. He is author or co-author of over 500 peer reviewed journal papers and 20 technical patents in the area of nanomaterials, biomaterials, surface modification, microsensors and electronic noses. At present, his research interests include the modelling of microsensor response under the effects of light illumination and heat, fabricating of chemical sensor array devices, synthesizing of metal oxide nanomaterials, constructing of electronic noses and finding their applications.
