Biography
Xiong Jian received the B.E.degree from the Zhenjiang Ship building Institute in 1993,and the M.E.and Ph.D.degrees from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST)in 1996 and 1999,respectively.In 1999,he joined HUST as a Lecturer,where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2003.His research interests include uninterruptible power system,acdrives,switch-moderectifiers,STATCOM,and the related control techniques.
