Xiong Tifan

Biography

Xiong Tifan, PhD, lecturer at the CAD center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has been engaged in theoretical research and software product development focused on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Collaboration Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Workflow Management and Design Based Cloud for more than ten years. He has participated as a principal member in several projects such as national key scientific and technological plans, 863 plans, scientific research plan of Hubei Province, and published more than 10 papers in related area. Some achievements won the Two Hubei province science and technology progress award. As the Chief Technology Officer, Xiong and his team members had developed the well-known product lifecycle management solution – IntePLM. The solution has been implemented in the hundreds of large and medium-sized enterprises. The application project of Jianghai Automobile Corporation was highly praised by the national 863 experts, and formed a national demonstration base of enterprise informatization. Since 2010, Xiong engaged in the research and development work of product innovation design knowledge service platform. The main goal of this project is that to study knowledge component technology, sharing and reuse knowledge-ware based on cloud computing environment. So as to establish a complex product multi-disciplinary simulation analysis and optimization design platform, and to explore a new service mode for product innovation design of small or medium sized enterprises. At present, the project has been supported by the national Ministry of science and technology 863 plan.
