Biography
Dr.Wenxiu Yang is a professor of English linguistics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Her research interest covers bilingual lexicography and pragmatics. Her current study focuses on implicit conflict talk, which falls into the scope of conversation analysis, pragmatics. Her publications include Chinese and international scholarly journals. She is also the chief editor of two textbooks for advanced English learners.
