Biography
Dmitri D. Kharkevitch, MD, PhD has over 30 years of experience in oncology in academia and clinical settings, including 15 years of leadership experience in industry in small and large pharma and biotech companies in clinical and medical affairs, safety and medical monitoring at Vical, Antigenics, Introgen, Roche, Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Worked for 7 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Dr. Kharkevitch has experience in all phases of drug development in hematology and oncology, as well as in immuno-oncology and immunotherapy and has patents and more than 60 related publications in these areas. International experience in regulatory affairs included personal meetings with FDA in the US, and European regulators at EMA, London, UK, successful participation in several IND and NDA filings. Dr. Kharkevitch received his MD and PhD degrees from N.I.Pirogov Medical School and N.N.Blokhin Cancer Center in Moscow, Russia.
