Biography
Juan Du manages operations, compound sourcing and business development in the Shanghai and surrounding offices. She has more than twenty five years of experience in clinical practice, medical science research and new drug R & D, and with project management and team leadership. She has led teams working on innovative drugs including IND registration with the CFDA. Her expertise in new drug development covers anti-cardiovascular, anti-metabolic, and anti-inflammation diseases; she successfully applied for and was awarded over 6M RMB of Chinese Major Innovative Drug Fund; she has filed several innovative drug patents and two of them were authorized. Dr. Du graduated from Nanjing Health School, specializing in Gynecology and Pediatrics, and Clinical Medicine in Southeast University School of Medicine in 1988. She obtained her PhD in Medical Genetics at Tokyo Women’s Medical University in 1999. She completed her four year postdoctoral training in Molecular Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Institute of Biomedical and Life Science, University of Glasgow in the UK.
