Biography
Jin Huang is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research – China. She completed her undergraduate study in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2004, and followed on the Ph.D degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London until 2010 with Deputy Rector’s award of Imperial College London. Jin's research interest lies in environmental modeling and business analytics. She led numerous research projects, including pipe failure prediction management (productized in IOC for Water), oil pipe leak detection for SK energy and unauthorized water use detection for HK government. Currently Jin is the project manager for Green Horizon Initiative, responsible for physical modeling research and technical support in the opportunity development. She is also the key coordinator responsible for facilitating The Weather Company's business landing in China. Jin Huang is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research – China.
