Biography
Yan Gong is research staff member of the Networking and Wireless research group in IBM Research - China. His research area is mainly about wireless communication system Network Planning and Optimization Methodology.Yan Gong has rich expericences in telecom industry.In IBM,he takes part in two global research directions across China, US and India labs. One is next generation radio access network (RAN) architecture (wireless network cloud).As the project manager,he helps to drive the progress of the project and support the collaboration with CMCC(and other 3rd party partners).The other one is wireless system and optimization for IoT (Internet of Things).Yan Gong sets up Network Planning and Optimization Methodology for Wireless IoT Platform,and is also as a role of technical leader in commercial pilot networ to ensure the success.
