Biography
Michael Peterson is a new assistant professor in the department of computer science. Dr. Peterson earned his Ph.D. in computer Science and Engineering from Wright State University in 2008. He also obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Wright State University. He spent the past academic year as a visiting professor at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
Research Interest
Dr. Peterson's research efforts are focused on the application of bio-inspired techniques to problem domains in bioinformatics, pattern recognition and image processing.
