MichaelJ.Tanabe is a professor of plant science. His primary interest is micropropagation of especially tropical and subtropical crops. He involved in addressing many of the local industry needs via micropropagation including anthuriums, edible ginger, orchids, bananas, noni, awa, tea and taro.
