Biography
Chen Yanwei is a deputy director of IHEP and director of the Dongguan Campus and Dongguan Center of Neutron Science. He obtained his bachelor degree in Automation from Gansu University of Technology in 1982.From 1982 to 1997, he worked at the Institute of Modern Physics and participated as one of the key experts at the Heavy Ion Research Facility project in Lanzhou. From 1997 to 1999, he visited Italy, and worked as a visiting researcher at Southern National Laboratory of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics. In 1999, he began to work at IHEP as a senior engineer
Research Interest
operating large-scale scientific facilities such as the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC), BEPCII and the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS).
