Biography
Qin Qing is Head of the Accelerator Division and the Deputy Director of IHEP. He is responsible for the Accelerator Division, the Division of Facilities Operation and Maintenance. Qin Qing got his Ph.D. in Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. He worked on the design study for the Large Hadron Collider as a visiting scholar at CERN as a visiting scholar, and was awarded a grant from the National Science Fund of China for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2007. He was also awarded a grant from the “Hundred-Talent Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012.He has published around 40 peer-reviewed papers as first author and co-author, and more than 60 papers at various meetings and conferences. He has co-authored one textbook in accelerator physics for graduate students in the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
