Biography
Dr. Jun Qin obtained his bachelor degree in 2001 from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology and PhD in 2006 from Beijing Normal University. After this, he worked as a research scientist at Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2008, he began to work as an associate professor at Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include quantitative remote sensing, land surface data assimilation, and their applications in hydrometeorology. He has published more than 10 articles as the first author in the ISI-indexed journals.
