Biography
Stephanie R. Earnshaw, PhD, is senior vice president, Health Economics at RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS), a not-for-profit organization. Prior to joining RTI-HS, she was director of operations at the Survey Research Unit at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). She is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), holds an adjunct professorship at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at UNC-CH, and is on the editorial board of PharmacoEconomics-Open. Stephanie has a PhD and MS in industrial engineering/operations research from North Carolina State University. She has dedicated her professional career to applying decision-analysis techniques to real-world problems to advance the field of outcomes research across global stakeholders. She has applied Markov, simulation, mathematical programming, and other methodologies to guide clinical and formulary policy, examine optimal allocations of health care interventions, and perform risk/benefit assessments. Additionally, her extensive research has been published in many peer-reviewed journals.
