Hwee Yee Yong

Biography

 Hwee Yee is Vice President, Janssen Supply Chain, Asia Pacific. She leads the development and execution of an integrated supply chain strategy for the region, including manufacturing excellence, customer management and product management. She also partners with the regional commercial team to ensure demand planning and product launch excellence. In her role, Hwee Yee’s main aim is to maintain strong fundamentals across the end-to-end supply chain in Asia Pacific, including a culture of safety, quality and customer service. She also focuses on making sure Janssen stays well-connected to customers by collaborating with both R&D and Commercial team members. Prior to taking her current role, Hwee Yee served as cluster lead for Janssen Supply Chain operations in Japan, North Asia and Australia & New Zealand. Before that, Hwee Yee led the Regional Supply Chain in China for GSK, overseeing the company’s three regional manufacturing facilities and the end-to-end supply chain operation for the country. Hwee Yee holds a Bachelor of Science from Imperial College in London, a Masters of Science, Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University. She was born and raised in Singapore and has lived in the US, UK, China and Japan.
