Mr. Liu Gexin

Biography

Mr. Liu Gexin was born in 1951, Chinese, without permanent overseas residency. He is Chairman of the company and Party Committee Secretary, with a master’s degree and titled as senior engineer. In 1992, he served as the general manager of Sichuan Qili Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and in 1996 he established Kelun Pharmaceutical Factory, serving as chairman up to now. From 1996 to 2003, while serving as the general manager of the company, Mr. Liu acted as the deputy chairman of Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce, standing member of the Ninth Committee of Sichuan CPPCC, deputy of the Ninth CPC Sichuan Congress, member of the 11th National Committee of CPPCC, deputy of the 12th CPC Chengdu Congress and deputy of the 10th CPC Sichuan Congress. In 2005, he won the honorary title of "National Model Worker". In 2008, he was titled “Outstanding Communist for Earthquake Relief” by the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and CPC Chengdu Committee. In 2009, he was appraised as the "Excellent Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" by the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, State Administration for Industry and Commerce and All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. In 2010, he was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award for Construction of Chengdu" by CPC Chengdu Committee, Standing Committee of People's Congress of Chengdu City, Chengdu Municipal People's Government and CPPCC Chengdu Committee. As the main person to complete the project, he received the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2015, and now concurrently acts as the chairman of Sichuan Kelun Industry Group.
