Biography
LI Shenghong, Professor of phytochemistry and chemical ecology. Major research interests include 1) the isolation and structural elucidation of secondary compounds synthesized by plants, and investigation into their ecological functions, cellular localization, biosynthesis and ultimate utilization; 2) the discovery of bioactive secondary metabolites (antifeedants, insecticides, and anti-infective especially antifungal agents) based on chemical ecology.
