Biography
LI Yan, Professor of molecular pharmacology. The major research of our group is screening, research and development of new anticancer drugs from the natural compounds, investigating their action mechanisms andevaluating in vivo activity with xenograft mouse model. We are also focused our research and drug discovery on certain signaling pathways which are closely related with tumorigenesis, such as WNT pathway in colon tumor and mTOR pathway in breast tumor. We are aiming tofind anti-tumor lead compounds and novel potential drug targets for cancer therapy.
