Biography
QIU Minghua, Professor of phytochemistry. Major research interests include 1) structure, bioactivities and drug discovery from traditional medicinal plants, with emphasis on Cimicifuga, Momordica charantia, Ganoderma, Buxaceae; 2) sustainable utilization of plant resources and know-how of their industrialization, the research interests focus mainly on refined process techniques of Pyrethrins based on ultrasonic extraction; investigations of biodiesel plant resources; chemical studies on biodiesel plants and modifications of Huperzine A.
