Biography
XU Gang, Professor of Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (KIB/CAS). Major research interests include: Systematic studies about the structures and functions of polycyclic acyphloroglucinols constituents from the plants of Guttiferae; Systematic phytochemical studies of terpenoid constituents of Salvia plants; The exploitation, research and utilization of traditional medicinal plant and related traditional knowledge used in the different ethnic groups in Northwest Yunnan of Sino-Himalaya.
