Biography
Dr B. You is now an associate professor in Physics of Nanjing University and is accomplished in preparation and properties of thin magnetic films by sputtering. His main research interests are giant magnetoresistance (GMR) in magnetic multilayers, spin valves, spin dependent tunneling in magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJ), exchange bias effect in ferromagnetic (FM) /antiferromagnetic (AFM) bilayer and nano-scaled magnetic materials. He has systematically studied the dependence of exchange coupling between FM/AFM bilays. He has investigated the magneto-resistance effect in FeCo/AlOx/Co tunnel junction and Fe/Cu/Gd1−xCox spin-valves. Recently he has fabricated iron/iron-oxide granular films by reactive dc magnetron sputtering, and their structural, magnetic and transportproperties were systematically studied.
