Biography
Graduated from Department of Physics, Nanjing University in 1963. From 1981-1983 he was a visiting scholar studying at University of Chicago, USA. Since then he had 8 times to go to the Universities and Institutes of United State and Japan for cooperation research work. Now he is a Professor of Nanjing University. Since 1996 he was elected as a Member of International Advisory Committee of “International Conference on Amorphous and Nanocrystalline Semiconductors”. Since 2002, he was engaged a Deputy Director of Chinese Physical Society, Jiangsu Province. From 2006, he was appointed as a member of Advisory Committee of “State Key Program for Basic Research of China”
Research Interest
Nano-semiconductor materials, Quantum Nano-electronics and Nano-optoelectronics. Published SCI papers over 250 articles and one book, owned 12 invention patents.
