Biography
Dr Hu An has received his B. Sc. in Physics (1965) from Sichuan University. Currently, he is working as Professor of the Nanjing University, Department of Physics.
Research Interest
Prof. Hu focused his research on the area of metallic superlattices since 1984. Starting from 90s, he switched his interest to magnetism study, including magnetic multilayers, interlayer coupling, giant magneto resistance and tunneling magneto resistance etc. He has published more than 140 scientific papers. Prof. Hu won several awards, including the 3rd class scientific and technology award of national educational department (1993), the 1st and 3rd class scientific and technology award of Jiangsu Province (1994), the 3rd class scientific and technology award of national department of science and technology (1995), the “distinguished contributor of China” (1995), the “distinguished lecturer” award of Nanjing University (2006). 3.
