B. S. (1990) and Ph. D. (1997), from Department of Chemistry, Nanjing University, China (supervisor: Prof. Xiao-Zeng You); Research Assistant in the University of Hong Kong (1996-1997 and 1998-1999, in Prof. Chi-Ming Che’s group); Postdoctoral research fellow in Technical University Munich, Germany (2000-2001, Alexander von Humboldt fellowship); Postdoctoral research fellow (2001-2003), Harvard University, USA (in Prof. R. H. Holm’s group). Lecturer (1997-2000), Associate Professor (2000-2004) and Professor (since 2004) in Department of Chemistry, Nanjing University. Distinguished Young Scholar from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2007). Cheung Kung Scholar of Ministry of Education in China (2009). The Second Class National Natural Science Award (2004).
Research Interest
Inorganic chemistry and Organometallic chemistry. Special research interests are currently on magnetic, conductive and multifunctional molecular materials; metal-metal bonding complexes; Molecular magnetic semiconductors; Iron-sulfur clusters and Nitrogenase etc.
