Born 1965; B.S. (1986), M.S. (1989) and Ph.D. (1992), Nanjing University; Postdoctoral fellow (1994-96), University of Zurich; Postdoctoral fellow (1996), Academia Sinica of Taiwan; Visiting scholar (1999-2000), University of Houston; Guest Professor, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, ETH Zurich (2007); Lecturer (1992-97), Associate professor (1997-2002) and Professor (2002-), Tang Zong-Ying Professor (2006-2008), Nanjing University; Winner of Cross-Century Young Talent Award (2002); Winner of Distinguished Young Scholar Award (2003); Ten Outstanding Women in Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province (2007); Winner of Hundreds and Thousands Talent Project in New Century (2010).
