Biography

Wu Xinglong in 1983 graduated from the Department of Physics, Ningbo Normal University (now Ningbo University), in February 1995 graduated from the Department of Physics, Nanjing University, condensed physics, received a doctorate in science, then stay in Nanjing University solid microstructure laboratory, Physics department work. Former deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Solid State Microstructure Physics, Nanjing University, Director of State Key Discipline of Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics, Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Functional Materials of Jiangsu Province. Since 1995, many times to Hong Kong, Canada, Italy and other places to study and visit. Now Professor of Physics, Nanjing University, doctoral tutor, Physics Institute condensed matter physics center deputy director. In 2007, he was appointed professor of Changjiang Scholar of Ministry of Education.

Research Interest

Long-term nano-semiconductor luminescent materials in the microstructure, phonon characteristics and luminescence mechanism of the study, emphasizing the theory and experiment combined in the main areas of semiconductor luminescent materials --- porous silicon and its germanium, silicon, C60 and other composite materials , ZnO nanometer particle thin films, erbium doped silicon nanostructures, silicon-based nano-SiC films, silicon-silicon-implanted silicon dioxide films, porous alumina films and inlaid semiconductor nanostructures, neodymium-doped lithium tantalates, proton exchange lithium niobates, Lithium tantalate crystal and lithium-based lithium niobate and lithium tantalate thin film preparation, microstructure and light-emitting characteristics of the characterization and other aspects have made many innovative results. Commitment to the project by the National Natural Science Foundation repeatedly rated as excellent, and as China's silicon-based luminescent materials and physical research in the field of important direction and one of the important progress.
