Biography
Dr. Xiaoyong Wang obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from Tianjing University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. Then he moved to University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and graduated there in 2004 with a PhD degree in physics. After finishing his postdoctoral research at University of Texas, Austin and University of Rochester, he became a professor at Nanjing University in 2010.
Research Interest
Studies of light-matter interactions in condensed matter physics, with an emphasis on the single molecule and ultrafast spectroscopies of low-dimensional nanostructures such as colloidal nanocrystals, self-assembled quantum dots, and single-walled carbon nanotubes.
