Dr. Zhang tingjun is currently working as a Professor in the Department of , Lanzhou University , china. His research interests includes Snow, ice and permafrost (including permafrost and seasonal permafrost) 2 ) Land surface processes and climate change in cold areas 3 ) Soil temperature and humidity 4 ) Heat and mass transfer of porous media 5 ) Cryosphere and hydrology And the interaction between the carbon cycle and the feedback effect 6 ) Numerical simulation of the geophysical phenomena and its comparison with the observed data 7 ) Application of satellite remote sensing data to study ice and snow and surface soil freezing and thawing process and cold area ice edge phenomenon. . He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Zhang tingjun is the member of many international affiliations.
