Hu Fengqing

Biography

Hu Fengqing, a professor at College of Light industry, Liaoning University, received B.S. degree in Microbiology in 1994 from Liaoning University, received M.S. degree in Botany in 1997 from Liaoning Normal University. He completed his Ph.D and postdoctoral research in Microbial pharmaceutical in 2005 and 2009, respectively,  at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China.  As a visiting scholar, he ever studied at Eastern Regional Research Center, United States Department of Agriculture in 2008-2009 and Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2012, respectively.

Research Interest

1.        Biosynthesis of bio-based materials (PHA) and their application in drug slow/ control-delivery. 2.        Research on rapid detection of pathogenic bacteria, poison, and toxin from food. 3.        Research and development of Biopharmaceuticals including anti-tumor drugs, thrombolytic drugs, et al.  4.       Researches on particular animal and plant resource in northeast of China and develop of novel functional foods.
