Biography
SONG Wei, a Professor at Literature College of Liaoning University, received M.A. degrees in 1987, from Liaoning University. He completed his Ph. D in Marxist Philosophy in 2006 at Jilin University. He is a Vice Chinaman of the Theorists’ Association in Literature and Arts in Liaoning Province, and Vice Director of the Aesthetics Society in Liaoning Province. Besides, Song is one of the chief experts for the Major Projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China. Professor Song has long been engaged in teaching and doing research on literature theory, aesthetics theory, as well as theory in arts. His major research interest is in Marxist Aesthetics Theory and Postmodernist Culture Theory. He has gained many honors such as Literature and Arts Review Award in Liaoning Province, the Philosophy and Social Science Excellent Achievement Award in Liaoning Province, etc.
