Biography
Zhao Yu-long (born in 1984), member of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, Ph.D. Literature, associate professor and supervisor for postgraduates in College of Liberal Arts, Liaoning University, specializes in Novels and Operas in the Ming-Qing Dynasties. Zhao offers a series of courses for undergraduates and postgraduates,such as History of Chinese Literature, Selected Works of Ancient Classics, Opera Appreciation and Research on Literature of Talk and Sing. Meanwhile, Zhao has published several academic monographs and theses, some of which won the Second and Third Prizes of Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Prizes of Liaoning Government, such as The Cross-Text Research on Journey to the West and Classical Novels. In addition, more than 20 academic theses have been published by core journals such as The Documentation, Social Science Journal, Studies on "A Dream of Red Mansions" and Journal of Ming-Qing Fiction Studies.
