Biography
Dr. Ying Wang is Professor of Nanjing University. Research in the Wang group is focused on understanding the surface/interface interactions between inorganic-organic materials and biomolecule-inorganic materials. Much of this work is based on the developing innovation semiconductor photocatalysts with visible light response, effective and low cost metal oxide semiconductor and polymer photocatalysts, with a particular emphasis on the utilization of renewable energy for environmental purification. A second aspect to her research is developing novel fluorescent chemosensor and hybrid mesoporous materials for recognition inorganic ions and/or enriches biomolecule. She has published 170 papers in journals and 18 patents
