Biography

Wu Yidong, Professor, doctoral tutor. In 1994 , he obtained a doctorate in insect science from Nanjing Agricultural University and was promoted to professor in 2000 . A two- year collaborative study was conducted at the Rothamsted Institute in the United Kingdom , the CIRAD in France and the Department of Genetics at the University of Melbourne, Australia . Currently an Associate Editor of Pest Management Science , Insect Science and Editor of Journal of Integrative Agriculture .         Has long been engaged in agricultural pest resistance research, presided over and assumed the National Natural Science Foundation of China 863 , genetically modified varieties of breeding major scientific research projects, industry science and technology projects such as more than 20 items. More than 60 SCI papers have been published in major international academic journals such as Nature Biotechnology, PNAS, Evolutionary Applications, Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Pest Management Science, and Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology . Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award second prize 1 item ( 1999 , the first 1 adult), Ministry of Education natural science award two prize 1 item ( 2006 , the first 2 adult), National Science and Technology Progress Award second prize 1 item ( 2010 , 3rd Completed). The Ministry of Education has received the first college Young Teacher Award ( 1999 ), sixth in Jiangsu Province Youth Science and Technology Award ( 2000 ), Jiangsu Province, "333 high-level personnel training project " the first batch of young leading scientists ( 2007 ), " New Century Ten Thousand Talents Project " national candidate ( 2009 ), the national agricultural research outstanding talent ( 2015 ).
