Biography
Xiaozhou Liu, received his Ph.D degree in acoustics from Nanjing University in 1999. Now he is appointed as a professor in Nanjing University and the head of the key Lab of Modern Acoustics. He graduated from Department of Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, Nanjing, China in 1998. He was a postdoctor in Shanghai Jiaotong University from 1999 to 2000. And he was a visiting professor in the Pennsylvania State University in 2009. Over the past 29 years, he has conducted both theoretical and experimental research in the area of biomedicine ultrasonics and nonlinear acoustics. Dr. Liu is member of Chinese Acoustical Society, head of the physics acoustics, branch of the Acoustical Society of China, member of the Acoustical Society of Jiangsu Province, head of the physics acoustics, branch of the Acoustical Society of Jiangsu Province, vice chairman of programming committee of Far East Nondestructive Testing Forum, standing member of the sixth Instrument Engineering Development Committee.
